Overview

Bias can influence recruitment long before the final hiring decision. It can shape how job descriptions are written, how CVs are interpreted, who is considered a “good fit”, how interviews are conducted and which candidates are ultimately selected.

This DEI Talk Series edition brings together HR, Talent Acquisition and People leaders to explore where bias enters the recruitment journey and what organisations can practically do to interrupt it.

With Taming Bias in Recruitment as the main topic, the discussion will also examine disability inclusion in recruitment and how internalised bias and self-limiting beliefs can influence women’s confidence, self-selection and career progression.

The session will combine practical examples, expert perspectives, interactive discussion and concrete tools participants can take back to their organisations.
