Purple Night Initiative

Several public institutions, embassies and private companies in Romania including Alba Iulia CityHall, Embassy of Finland in Romania, Embassy of Sweeden in Romania, Accenture, AFI Europe Romania (AFI Lakeview and AFI Cotroceni Mall), BRD, Brisk, CA Immo (Baneasa Business Park), Dentons, DMT Marine Equipment, EIB, Floreasca Park, Franklin Templeton Investments, Godmother, GTC Romania (Cascade Office, City Gate, Premium Plaza, Premium Point), Immofianz (VIVO! Mall Cluj-Napoca & VIVO! Mall Constanta), ING, Iulius Company (Iulius Malls Iasi, Timisoara & Cluj),  JW Mariott Grand Hotel Bucharest, Kaufland Romania, LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group), Mazars, Metro Digital, Metropolitan, Mindit.io, Motivation, Nepi Rock Castle (Mega Mall &  Promenada Mall), Prime Kapital (Dambovita Mall, Marmura Residence & Silk District), RadissonBlu Bucharest, Raiffeisen, S Immo (The Mark Bucharest), Skanska, Special Olympics Foundation and UiPath joined the Purple Night Initiative – #PurpleNightRomania  – 2021, organised by the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce and will light their buildings in purple, thus sending a message of solidarity with the disabled community.

According to official statistics, there are approximately 800,000 people with disabilities in Romania.

Thank you to our wonderful partners who took part in the Purple Night Initiative and turned Romania into a sea of purple, as a reminder that some 800,000 people living with disabilities are an invaluable resource that should not be forgotten.
