Redirect 20% of Your Profit Tax to Build Romania’s First National Disability & Accessibility Economic Study

Turn inclusion into data, decisions, and measurable economic impact.

Purple Survey 2026 is an RDCC initiative designed to deliver Romania’s first national economic analysis focused on disability, accessibility, inclusion, and their impact on business and society.

Through this study, RDCC aims to generate credible and actionable data on the market represented by persons with disabilities and their families, including purchasing power, consumer behaviour, access barriers, unmet needs, revenue lost due to inaccessibility, and the broader economic cost of discrimination and exclusion.

Your company can support this national initiative through Form 177 by redirecting up to 20% of the profit tax already paid to the state.
This contribution involves no additional cost for your company. The amount is transferred directly by ANAF from the profit tax your company has already paid.

Why redirect through Form 177 now?

Form 177 allows companies to redirect part of their profit tax from the previous fiscal year to eligible organisations, within the available legal threshold.

The amount that can be redirected is the lower of:

  • 0.75% of turnover
  • 20% of the profit tax due
If this amount is not redirected within the legal deadline, it remains with the state.

By choosing to redirect it to RDCC, your company can directly support the development of Purple Survey 2026 — a strategic research tool for companies, institutions, employers, ESG teams, HR, DEI, marketing, digital experience, compliance, accessibility, and customer-experience professionals.

Through Purple Survey 2026, inclusion becomes not only a social responsibility topic, but a measurable economic factor linked to competitiveness, innovation, retention, accessibility, market access, and ESG/CSRD reporting.

What steps does your company need to take?

  1. Check the available sponsorship threshold and the amount that can be redirected through Form 177.
  2. Download and complete the sponsorship agreement with RDCC.
  3. Complete Form 177 and submit it online via the ANAF platform within the applicable legal deadline.
  4. Send us a copy of the documents so the RDCC team can monitor the process correctly.
That’s it. Your company contributes to a national digital-safety and social-impact initiative — at no additional cost.

Why Purple Survey 2026 matters for business

Accessibility is not only a moral responsibility or a compliance topic. It is also a question of market access, reputation, conversion, productivity, innovation, customer experience, and risk management.

Purple Survey 2026 will help generate data around three key economic dimensions:

Purple Lei — Spending Power

Estimating the purchasing power, consumer behaviour, and access barriers experienced by households that include persons with disabilities.

Purple Click Away Lei — Cost of Inaccessibility

Estimating the revenue lost when people abandon inaccessible digital services, physical spaces, products, or customer journeys.

Cost of Discrimination & Exclusion — Macro Impact

Quantifying the economic losses generated by reduced labour-market participation, lost productivity, under-consumption, and increased dependency-related costs.

By supporting Purple Survey 2026, your company helps Romania move from assumptions to evidence — and from inclusion as a principle to inclusion as measurable business impact.

What do we do at RDCC?

At the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce, we work with the business community to transform inclusion into competitive advantage, compliance, innovation, and sustainable economic growth.

We have brought together all our projects, figures, and results in the 2025 Annual Report. We invite you to explore it and get to know us better.

Through initiatives such as AccessABILITY Expo, Purple Night Romania, Purple Survey 2026, Opportunity Job Hub, the Accessibility Solutions Department, and the Sustainable Procurement Ecosystem, RDCC continues to turn inclusion into action, visibility, data, and measurable business impact.

RDCC in numbers

RDCC brings together companies, leaders, experts, institutional partners, non-profit organisations, and communities working together to accelerate economic inclusion in Romania.

In 2025, RDCC strengthened its role as Romania’s business hub for inclusive growth, connecting the private sector with civil society, public institutions, and international ED&I networks.

  • 43 corporate members, representing 70,000+ employees in Romania
  • 3 international collaborations and MoUs, connecting Romania to European and global ED&I ecosystems
  • 12 flagship events covering disability inclusion, inclusive recruitment, accessible real estate, gender-equal financing, generational diversity, and more
  • 71 speakers mobilised across conferences, business breakfasts, and workshops
  • 4 ED&I solution lines, delivered by 7 experts
  • 1 national app dedicated to reporting discrimination
  • AccessABILITY Expo 2025: 55+ exhibitors from Romania and Europe, with 1,500+ visitors per day across three days
  • 100+ media mentions across print, online, TV, and radio
  • 4.6M+ national media reach
  • 95% of exhibitors expressed interest in returning
These results reflect RDCC’s ability to mobilise the business community around inclusion, accessibility, innovation, and measurable economic impact.

How will these funds be used?

The funds redirected through Form 177 will support the development of Purple Survey 2026 and the implementation of a robust, independent, and nationally relevant research project for Romania.

More specifically, your company’s contribution can support:

  • the design of the methodology, sampling approach, ethical framework, and GDPR mechanisms;
  • participant recruitment through RDCC members, NGOs, relevant databases, and national outreach;
  • data collection through a national quantitative study with a strong methodological foundation;
  • economic analysis of the three research pillars;
  • development of the anonymised dataset, codebook, and quality memo;
  • production of the national report for Romania;
  • preparation of an executive summary for boards and top management;
  • organisation of a launch session, webinar, and communication package for partners;
  • translation of the results into useful insights for ESG, CSRD, HR, DEI, marketing, digital experience, accessibility, and risk management.
Purple Survey 2026 is designed as an approximately six-month process, covering research design and approval, fieldwork, data cleaning and quality assurance, modelling, report writing, final publication, and launch.
