As we close out 2025 and head into the holiday season, we’re taking a moment of gratitude—and pride. On 5 December, the Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce celebrated its 5-year anniversary during the inaugural Romanian Diversity Awards—a milestone that brought together business leaders, policymakers, and civil society to recognise what truly works: inclusion delivered with strategy, not slogans.
Five years ago, the RDCC was founded on a clear belief: Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) is not a CSR side-note—it’s a driver of innovation, risk management, employer branding, and long-term competitiveness. Today, we are proud to say the RDCC has grown into Romania’s business hub for inclusive growth, helping companies embed fairness and future-ready strategy into how they hire, build, procure, and lead—so they can compete stronger in European and global markets.
AccessABILITY Expo 2025 became one of Eastern Europe’s leading platforms for accessibility and inclusion—bringing together solution providers, employers, public institutions and the disability community under one roof. The expo also hosted Opportunity Job Hub, connecting inclusive employers with candidates with disabilities through interviews, CV clinics, workshops, and networking—designed to convert intent into real employment pathways.
One of the clearest signals of where the RDCC is heading came from our President, Estera Anghelescu—Recruiting & Employer Branding Director at Kaufland Romania & Moldova: a decisive first step to make disability inclusion easier to start, and harder to delay. In 2025, the RDCC launched Romania’s first dedicated Accessibility Solutions Department,
providing end-to-end support for EU Accessibility Act readiness and disability recruitment strategy. Our services span accessibility audits and needs assessments, executive workshops, technical testing, user-centred design, training and capacity building, and the development of practical, implementable accessibility strategies and inclusive employment roadmaps.
We built these solutions to be pragmatic and results-driven—so organisations can move from “we should” to “we did.”
The RDCC membership means entering a trusted ecosystem of organisations that treat inclusion as a leadership standard and a market advantage.
