Job Opportunities
The Romanian Diversity Chamber of Commerce (RDCC) is a business-focused non-profit organisation dedicated to advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and equal opportunity in Romania’s professional and corporate ecosystem. Through events, business platforms, certification programmes, and strategic partnerships, RDCC works with companies, institutions, NGOs, and communities to promote inclusive growth and meaningful social impact.
RDCC is looking for motivated ASE students to support targeted outreach and engagement activities for two upcoming RDCC initiatives:
AccessABILITY Expo – outreach to exhibitors and NGOs specialising in disability, accessibility, and inclusive solutions
Purple Night Romania – participant outreach and engagement for a national awareness and solidarity campaign
This is a practical volunteering opportunity for students interested in communication, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, corporate partnerships, fundraising, inclusion, ESG, accessibility, and social impact.
Volunteers will work closely with Dr. Giulia R. Tufaro, RDCC Corporate Partnerships Director and Founder of Filantropì Renactimento. This will offer students direct exposure to professional outreach, partnership development, stakeholder communication, fundraising strategy, campaign coordination, and project management in a real working environment.
By working directly with Dr. Giulia R. Tufaro, volunteers will gain practical knowledge in how strategic partnerships are built, how organisations engage with companies and NGOs, and how social-impact initiatives are structured, communicated, and developed.
What we are looking for
We are looking for students who are organised, proactive, reliable, and professional, with an interest in communication, business development, events, inclusion, accessibility, and social impact. Good English communication skills are an advantage.
Expected workload
Approximately 6–12 hours per week, with flexibility depending on the student’s availability and the project timeline. Activities may include research, outreach, email and phone communication, follow-up with stakeholders, database updates, campaign support, and coordination of responses.
What volunteers will learn and gain
Volunteers will gain hands-on experience in professional communication, stakeholder engagement, corporate partnerships, fundraising, outreach, event coordination, and campaign implementation.
They will also learn how to work with professional outreach, marketing, and database tools such as HubSpot, RocketReach, Mailchimp, and structured databases, while developing practical skills in prospect research, contact management, outreach flows, follow-up systems, and campaign communication.
In addition, volunteers will gain direct mentorship from Dr. Giulia R. Tufaro, contribute to national inclusion-focused initiatives, and strengthen their understanding of DEI, accessibility, ESG, and social-impact projects.
Upon successful completion of the volunteering period, volunteers will receive a professional referral letter. Strong-performing volunteers may also benefit from RDCC’s recommendation and promotion for potential opportunities within the RDCC ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to transform academic knowledge into practical professional experience while contributing to initiatives with visible business, social, and community impact.
